Debris comes out by hand and goes into bags, rather than being blasted across your roof and garden to wash straight back in. The downpipe outlets get checked while we are up there, because a clear gutter feeding a blocked downpipe is still a blocked gutter.
Timing it right
The sensible time is before the wet season, and again after the big leaf drop if you have gums or jacarandas over the roofline. If you are already booking a window clean, doing the gutters on the same visit saves a second call-out.
